Learn how to use Adobe Brand Intelligence to assemble on-brand & personalized variants automatically.

Instruct to Assemble is a skill in Adobe Brand Intelligence that automatically generates on-brand and personalized design variants. You can use Instruct to assemble in Figma via the Adobe Brand Intelligence plugin to quickly create multiple on-brand variants using predefined templates and brand guidelines.

Enterprise customers using this feature can streamline content creation by turning brand context into production-ready variants. The system handles complex workflows such as image selection, cropping, color application, and brand guideline validation automatically.

Before you begin

Make sure you have:

  • Access to Adobe Brand Intelligence with your enterprise credentials
  • Global and campaign-specific data loaded into Adobe Brand Artifactory by your dedicated Forward Deployed Engineering team

Configure and generate variants

Open the Instruct to Assemble panel in your workspace.

Select the appropriate Context from the dropdown menu that matches your campaign or brand requirements, such as channel, audience, and product data.

The Adobe Brand Intelligence System plugin in Figma shows the Instruct to Assemble panel with Campaign and Assembly options.
Assembly options are configured specifically for each organization based on their needs; as a result, they may look different for you.

Select Assembly options to expand the configuration section.

These options are custom to your brand and campaign identity and are configured in the Adobe Brand Artifactory.

Under the Variant preference, enter the Number of variants you want to create for each design.

Select Assemble to start the generation process.

Adobe Brand Intelligence plugin in Figma shows the Instruct to Assemble panel on the left and generated designs on the right.
Adobe Brand Intelligence will select a plan, use the best images, and apply brand and campaign-level guidelines.

Wait while the system processes your request and generates the assets.

Tip

Start with 2-3 variants when testing a new context configuration to verify output quality before generating larger batches.

What happens during assembly

The system performs several automated operations while generating your variants:

  • Plans which variants to create
  • Selects optimal images from your DAM
  • Crops and resizes assets to fit designated templates
  • Applies campaign-specific colors and gradients from your brand guidelines
  • Validates output against brand compliance rules
  • Resolves any remaining validation issues automatically

Processing time varies based on the number of variants requested and the complexity of your brand guidelines. The system displays progress indicators during generation.

Review generated assets

Once assembly completes, the system displays all generated creative assets within your selected context.

Review the assembled results to confirm they meet your campaign requirements. You can make manual adjustments to individual assets if needed, or regenerate variants with different assembly options.
