Use Quick Guides

Last updated on Mar 13, 2026

Learn how to use guided workflows to simplify your creative process and generate custom iterations in Boards.

Quick Guides provide step-by-step workflows that appear on the Boards page. These guides are designed to help you navigate creative processes through structured, visual, and example-based workflows. To customize and use a guide, you must remix it and create an editable copy.

Learn and generate simultaneously

Go to Firefly Boards and scroll to the Discover workflows for Boards section.

Choose a guide that fits your needs, then select View workflow.

The Boards screen in Firefly shows several workflow templates, with one selected and the View workflow option displayed.
Choose your Quick guide workflow depending on your specific requirement.

Select Open in Boards to view the guide on canvas.

The Boards screen shows a preview of the Character Expression Sheet workflow with a highlight on the Open in Boards option.
You can also copy the link of the guide and share it elsewhere.

Go through the guide, zoom in to review the steps, and familiarize yourself with how it works.

In the banner that reads "This workflow is read-only. Remix a copy to make it your own.", select Remix.

The Boards screen displays a banner indicating the workflow is read‑only, with the Remix option highlighted for editing it.
Selecting Remix will open an editable copy of the guide in a new canvas.

Once the editable canvas opens, locate the banner labelled – Start here to try it out.

The Character expression sheet workflow displays five steps to guide the creation of new character expressions.
The guided steps simplify the process so that you can start creating your own versions.

Follow the steps outlined in the guide to generate your iterations.

Tip

Quick Guides are designed as learning workflows. After completing a guided workflow once, you can adapt the techniques to your own projects without having to follow the structured approach.
