Learn how to use Firefly AI assistant to transform raw product photos into a complete brand package.
Adobe Firefly AI assistant helps you move from idea to finished brand assets by planning, executing, and refining brand development tasks using simple, conversational prompts. Instead of manually creating each asset or performing each step across different apps, you can quickly describe your goals and let the AI Assistant guide you through the process.
Use the AI assistant in Firefly to create a complete brand package from a single conversation. Start with product photos, then batch-edit or retouch images, develop a brand identity, generate packaging mockups, and videos for social media without switching between multiple tools.
You can build a brand for your small business in a few simple steps:
- Retouch product photos
- Create a brand identity
- Create packaging mockups
- Create videos for social media
Before you begin
Make sure you have a Firefly account with access to the Adobe Firefly AI assistant (beta), and
- Product photos in JPG or PNG format
- A brand name and general aesthetic direction (for example, 'Rustic and natural' or 'Bold and modern')
Retouch product photos
Select icon and upload your product photos.
Tip
Upload product photos from multiple angles and contexts to help AI Assistant provide more accurate preset recommendations.
Enter a prompt describing your desired edits, such as "Retouch these photos to have consistent studio lighting. Preserve the aesthetic and do not increase color saturation."
Review the proposed plan or preset options that the AI Assistant recommends based on your uploaded images, and confirm the changes you want.
Review the edited photos and select any additional refinements you want to apply, such as Auto Tone or Sharpen Jewelry.
Save the edited images by downloading them.
In the same chat or a new one, enter a prompt such as "I'd like to create a brand for my jewelry business".
Provide your brand name and a description of the brand style or personality. You can provide a detailed explanation of your brand tagline, aesthetic, core values, and more.
Select the next steps and let the AI Assistant create brand elements, including brand colors, fonts, logo, and image guidelines.
Review the curated color directions presented by the AI Assistant. If you want to change a certain aspect — color, typography, fonts, or others- specify what you need. For example, you can type "I don't like the suggested colors, make the palette more neutral".
You can select different colors, fonts, and typography available from the picker menu.
Review the generated logo concepts; if not generated, ask the AI Assistant to generate it by typing "Create a logo concept".
Provide any requested refinements, such as "I like option 2, but add an element of terracotta to the background".
Review the updated logo and brand assets. Once done, you can download or share the brand kit assets with others.
AI Assistant automatically saves the following assets and guidelines to your Creative Cloud brand. These become available in future chat sessions and other supported apps like Adobe Express.
- Logos and graphics
- Color swatches and color palettes
- Fonts
- Voice, tone, photography, and channel guidelines
Generate packaging mockups
Once you create product mockups, design a logo and typography, and decide on a color palette, enter a prompt to generate branded mockups.
For example, enter the prompt "Make a mockup of the jewelry packaging tied to my brand".
Review the packaging mockup types suggested by the AI Assistant and suggest changes as required.
Review the pilot mockup generated by the AI Assistant. If required, select Continue to generate the remaining mockups if the pilot mockup matches your expectations.
Review the completed mockups and suggest changes if required.
The AI Assistant automatically saves the curated packaging and product mockups in Boards. You can open it to view your brand images and aesthetic.
Note
For all brand-related prompts, the AI Assistant automatically applies brand assets created earlier in the workflow. To use a different brand, specify the brand name in your prompt.
If you're in a new chat,k select the icon to add product or packaging mockups and other relevant photos.
If you're in the same chat, directly enter a prompt suggesting you want to use the product mockups to create a promotional video for social media.
For example, you can enter the prompt "I want to use these product shots to create a promotional reel featuring my brand aesthetic and logo."
Review the image analysis performed by the AI Assistant and choose the format or style of video you want to create, based on the prompted questions.
Wait while the AI Assistant generates the video clips.
Tip
You can specify the aspect ratio, resolution, and other aspects of the video by typing them in the prompt box.
Review the generated reel content; it may include multiple audio and video clips. Once you are satisfied, you can view the assets in the saved board or prompt the AI Assistant to combine them into a single video.
Select Download to save the reel locally, or save it to Creative Cloud for access across devices.
Continue developing your brand
After creating your initial brand package, you can continue refining your content by generating:
- Additional marketing assets for specific campaigns
- Social media creative in multiple aspect ratios
- Product photography variations with different lighting or backgrounds
- Promotional videos for specific platforms or audiences
