Transform any 2D image into a 3D asset in a few simple steps.

When you have an image in Firefly Boards canvas, you can instantly convert the 2D image into a 3D one, allowing you to explore different perspectives, angles, and positioning.

For instance, you can import a photo of a chair and turn it into a 3D asset. This makes it possible to visualize how the chair would look from various viewpoints, adjust its placement in a virtual room layout all without leaving the project.

On the Firefly homepage, select Ideate from the left panel.

Select New board to open a blank canvas

Upload or generate an image that you want to convert into a 3D element and add it to the canvas.

Select the image and the Convert option, and then Image to 3D.

The image context menu displays an expanded Convert section with Image to video and Image to 3D options.
Select Image to 3D to change the perspective, distance, and angle of objects in a scene.

The converted 3D object is added to the canvas, and you can use the following controls to adjust its perspectives and angles.
