Learn how to enable auto-scrolling of the transcript so that it stays in sync with the spoken words in the video.
Try it in the app
Enable auto-scrolling of the video transcript in a few simple steps.
When you turn on Auto-scrolling when working with Text-based editing, when the video is played back for preview, the transcript moves along with the spoken words. This helps you follow the part of the text that matches the video without scrolling yourself, making it easy to spot the exact line being spoken and replay or review it.
Create a new project and add a video file with dialogue to the timeline.
The Text-based editing panel displays the automatically generated transcript of the video.
Use the icon and enable the Auto-scrolling option.
Once enabled, when you play back the video or move the playhead, the transcript will auto-scroll to show the exact part of the text.
