You can upscale generated videos with Topaz Astra, using advanced AI upscaling directly in Firefly Boards. Use the video upscaling option to enhance the creativity, resolution, and quality of videos generated or added in Firefly Boards, delivering professional-grade results for your creative projects.
This procedure applies to videos generated using Firefly or partner models and ones that you've uploaded and placed on your canvas.
Before you begin:
Generate or upload a video and add it to your Firefly Boards canvas.
From the context menu, select the Upscale with Topaz Astra icon.
In the Upscale video menu, choose your desired Enhancement type:
- Precise: Improves resolution and clarity while preserving the original look and details of the original video.
- Creative: Adds or invents new details for a more stylized, visually enhanced result that may differ from the original video.
Changing the optimization type will also change the Details. Select one of the following details depending on your choice of Optimize options.
- Precise: Select Speed or Quality as the parameter that needs to be upscaled.
- Creative: Select Subtle or Bold as the level of creativity with which you'd want to upscale your video.
Select your output resolution from 1080p or 4K.
Select Generate to trigger the upscaling process.
When the cursor appears, position it on your canvas where you want the upscaled video to appear and then release it to place the video.
