Updating NVIDIA Drivers for Adobe Video Applications

Your video card, also known as a GPU, plays a vital role in your Adobe video application. Keeping your driver updated helps ensure your application runs stably, with the best performance possible.

NVIDIA and Adobe work closely together to find and fix issues quickly as part of NVIDIA’s Studio Driver program.

Note:

NVIDIA Studio Drivers support GeForce 1050 or newer video cards. For those with older cards, such as the 1030 or 900 series, a “Game Ready” driver (GRD) must be used. Keeping your video card’s driver is still important when using GRD drivers.

The easiest way to keep your drivers up to date is to install either the GeForce Experience for NVIDIA GeForce desktop and notebook GPUs or the RTX Experience for NVIDIA RTX or Quadro GPUs.

It has a function that will notify you when a new driver is available for your video card and can assist you with downloading and installing the latest driver.

Note:

You must create an NVIDIA account to use the GeForce or RTX Experience application.

Once you've the application installed and you've registered for an account, you can switch to the “DRIVERS” tab, and from the three vertical dots to the right, choose “Studio Driver.” This will assist with downloading and installing the latest driver for your video card.
