Add assets from Adobe Stock to a Creative Cloud library

Last updated on Apr 2, 2026

Learn how to add assets from Adobe Stock to Creative Cloud library in Adobe Premiere.

Adobe Stock has millions of high-quality, royalty-free photos, videos, illustrations, and graphics and you can search for assets directly from within Premiere to add them to Creative Cloud library.

Select Window > Libraries to open the Libraries panel in Premiere.

Use the search options dropdown menu to view available spaces and select Adobe Stock.

Enter the search keywords in the Search Adobe Stock search bar. The search results are displayed right within the panel.

Once you've located an asset that you want to use, you can purchase a license immediately and add the asset to your library in Premiere. Alternatively, you can add an unlicensed preview (watermarked) version of the asset to your library for now and license it later.

To buy an asset immediately, select the asset and select the License and save  icon, and go through the purchase process.

To add an unlicensed preview version of the asset to your library, select the asset and then the Save preview to <Library Name>  icon.

If you add a preview version of an asset to your library, you can license it later. To license the asset, select one and then License Image for a still preview, and License Video for a video preview. When you license the asset, all linked instances of the asset in your open files are automatically updated to the licensed, high-resolution asset without the watermark.

Tip

If Adobe Stock assets don’t show up automatically in your library, select the Sync button in the lower right corner of the panel to perform a manual sync. Your assets now appear in the library.

When you license an asset, all unlicensed copies used in any sequence are automatically replaced with the full-quality version and edits are preserved.
