Apply a reusable layer of form fields

Utilize a template for form fields to apply them to documents that have a consistent structure.

Field Templates are reusable layers of fields that can be applied to any document. Templates are ideal if you have one field layout that works for multiple documents or a document that can be sent several different ways.

Field Templates can be edited and shared with your group or account like document templates.

If overlapping fields are detected, an error message appears.

    foo
This error indicates that some fields placed in the document overlap.

If the template is longer than the document, fields extending beyond the document’s length will be lost, and an error message will indicate unassigned fields.

    foo
This error indicates that some placed fields were lost due to the field template being longer than the document.

    Tip:

Selecting the Undo button on any of the messages will remove all fields applied.
