Custom models overview

Discover custom models in Adobe Firefly to generate images that preserve your brand identity and unique campaign style.

Custom models let you train and customize Firefly generative models using your own images, generating content that reflects a specific visual style or subject matter. You can then use a trained custom model to create image variations that maintain a consistent visual identity across generated content and illustrations, expand an icon set, generate a character in different poses or scenes, or create photographs with a similar visual look.

Custom models can be used to generate content in supported Adobe apps, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Express, Firefly, and GenStudio. These models are private by default and designed for commercial use. You can also share trained models with others to generate content with the same visual characteristics.

You can use sample models available in the Get inspired section to work on specific use cases, or train a custom model with your own images, to generate content that reflects your personal style or brand identity.

Types of models

Custom Models can be trained to generate a specific subject or reproduce a visual style. Choose the model type based on what you want to keep consistent in the generated results.

• Subject: Train a subject model when you want generated images to consistently represent a particular object, character, product, or other recognizable subject.
• Style: Train a style model when you want generated images to share visual characteristics such as illustration treatment, color, texture, lighting, or overall aesthetic.
