Learn how to add brand colors to your custom models using Hex color control and generate consistent images in Adobe Firefly.
Hex color control is currently a beta feature in custom models, available only to enterprise users. Try it now and share your feedback.
Use Hex color control to define brand colors when training Firefly custom models. Add HEX values and descriptive color names to help the model learn your brand palette during training and generate images with colors that align with your visual identity.
Define brand colors in a custom model
Expand Brand color tags.
Select the color swatch to choose a color, or enter a HEX value in the field.
In the Enter color name field, type a descriptive name such as Blue or Pale Pink.
Select the icon to add the color to your palette.
To remove a color, select the icon next to it in the list.
Select Preview to see how your color palette will be applied during training.
After analyzing your training images, Firefly generates captions and uses your brand color tags where those colors appear.
Review and refine brand color tags in captions
Review the generated captions for each image, after the training images are uploaded and analyzed.
Verify the correct brand colors and tag them with highlighted color names and swatches.
To tag a color that Firefly missed, select Add brand color below the caption.
If you modify any brand colors or captions, select Analyze and caption again before training your model.
With the color palette defined and verified, you can reference those colors when generating images.
Generate images using brand colors
Open Firefly and select Image > Generate image.
From the Model dropdown menu, select your trained custom model.
Enter a prompt that includes your brand color names and the objects you want to apply them to, such as CUSTOMSUBJECT wearing a Blue sweater and a Red beret.
Select Generate to create images that align with your brand's color palette.
Firefly uses the brand colors learned during training to generate images that align with your brand's color palette.
Best practices for using brand colors
Follow these recommendations to improve color consistency in your generated images.
- Use distinct colors. Choose colors that are visually different from one another to help the model distinguish between them.
- Limit your palette to fewer than 10 colors. A smaller palette helps produce more consistent results.
- Use clear, unique color names. Choose descriptive names that you can easily reference in prompts.
- Include brand colors in your training images. Make sure your training dataset contains examples of each brand color so the model can learn how they're used.
