Using legacy title templates in Premiere Pro

Premiere Pro offers you the capability to easily create titles directly on your video using the Essential Graphics panel in Adobe Premiere Pro. The title can also be saved as a template which can be reused and shared.

However, you can also continue to use the legacy title templates created using the Adobe Title Designer tool and import these titles in your projects. To do this, create a new project and store all your title templates created using the legacy titler. Subsequently, you can browse this project using media browser to preview and import the required template. Use the steps mentioned below to achieve this.

  1. To use the legacy title designer, select File>New>Legacy Title.

  2. If you want to use the legacy title templates that are already available, select File>New>Project.
