About Properties panel

The Properties panel in Adobe Premiere Pro v25.0 enables you to access frequently needed controls as you edit.

Note:

Starting with Premiere Pro version 25.0, the Essential Graphics panel is no longer included. You can now edit titles, captions, audio, video, and graphics more efficiently using the new Properties panel and browse Motion Graphics and Stock Audio using the Graphics Templates panel.

What can I do with the Properties panel?

The Properties panel shows you the most commonly used parameters and tools for the video, audio, text, or graphics you have selected. Use it to edit captions, edit your video (transform, position, scale, rotate, and change clip opacity), and adjust audio volume.

The UI shows the highlighted Properties panel containing options to modify Text, Appearance, Alignment, Linked Style and Responsive Design - Position.
Select the text, shape, or audio to use the options in the Properties panel to enhance and build a unique look.

How is the Properties panel better than previous workflows?

  • Edit multiple clips at the same time. You can select and edit the properties of multiple clips simultaneously using the Properties panel.
  • You can quickly and contextually change different properties of clips – such as speed, crop, and transform.
  • You can quickly access various other functions and panels – such as Lumetri Color, Effect Controls, browse effects, transitions, Motion Graphics, and Stock Audio.
