On the Adobe Firefly homepage, select Generate from the left panel then select Generate video.

When you use the Generate video feature, you have the option to choose from a variety of video models. These models include both Adobe models as well as partner models. Based on the model you selected while generating a video, you'll be presented with its specific settings and controls.
Both the Text to video and Image to video features include the following partner models for video generation:
When you select a partner model to generate a video, you'll be prompted to confirm that you're using a model not developed by Adobe, along with other relevant information. Please review the details and select OK to start generating videos.
In the General settings section, select Kling 2.5 Turbo from the Model dropdown menu for video generation.
Select the Aspect ratio from the following options:
- Widescreen (16:9)
- Square (1:1)
- Vertical (9:16)
The Resolution is set to a default of 1080p, Frames per second to 24 FPS, and Duration to 5 seconds.
Set the starting frame of your video, under the Frames section, select First to add a start image. If you wish to further modify keyframe images, select:
- Crop Image: If the keyframe image doesn’t match the aspect ratio, hover over the thumbnail to activate the image tools and select the Crop Image icon . You can move your cursor over the preview and adjust the crop as needed.
- Edit Image: If you wish to edit the first or last frame image, hover over the thumbnail to activate the image tools and select the Edit Image icon . When the edit with text prompts page opens, you can easily add or modify the details of your image and Save it to get back to the Generate image page.
- Remove Image: To remove an image from the first or last frame, hover over it and select the Remove Image icon .
In the Advanced section, you can use the Seed option to add a seed number that helps start the process and controls the randomness of what the AI creates. If you use the same seed, prompt, and control settings, you can generate similar video clips.
In the Prompt field, enter a text prompt.
Select Generate .
On the Adobe Firefly homepage, select Generate from the left panel then select Generate video.
In the General settings section, select Pika 2.2 from the Model dropdown menu for video generation.
Select either 720p or 1080p resolution for video generation.
Select the Aspect ratio from the following options:
- Widescreen (16:9)
- Landscape (3:2)
- Landscape (5:4)
- Square (1:1)
- Portrait (2:3)
- Portrait (4:5)
- Vertical (9:16)
The Frames per second is set to a default 24 FPS.
Select the duration of the generated video as 5 or 10 seconds.
If you want to use a specific image as the starting frame of your video, under the Frames section, select First to add a start image. Optionally, use Last to upload an image for the end frame to conclude the video. If you wish to further modify keyframe images, select:
- Crop Image: If the keyframe image doesn’t match the aspect ratio, hover over the thumbnail to activate the image tools and select the Crop Image icon . You can move your cursor over the preview and adjust the crop as needed.

There are a few differences when generating videos with the Ray models—Ray2, Ray3, Ray3 HDR, Ray3.14, and Ray3.14 HDR, such as video duration, output quality, and the number of generative credits used.
On the Adobe Firefly homepage, select Generate from the left panel then select Generate video.
On the Generate video page, under the General settings section, use the Model dropdown menu to select either Ray2, Ray3, Ray3 HDR, Ray3.14, or Ray3.14 HDR.
Use the Resolution dropdown menu to select from the following available options:
- Ray2: 540p, 720p, and 1080p
- Ray3 and Ray3 HDR: 360p, 540p, 720p, and 1080p
- Ray3.14 and Ray3.14 HDR: 720p, 1080p, and 4K.
Use the Aspect ratio dropdown menu to select the desired frame size for the generated video from the following options:
- Ultra Wide (21:9)
- Widescreen (16:9)
- Landscape (4:3)
- Square (1:1)
- Portrait (3:4)
- Vertical (9:16)
- Ultra Tall (9:21)
The Frames per second is set to 24 FPS by default for the generated video.
Select the generated video duration from the following options:
- Ray2: 5 or 9 seconds
- Ray3: 5 or 10 seconds
- Ray3 HDR, Ray3.14, and Ray3 HDR: By default, 5 seconds

For the Ray2 model, enable the Loop video option if you want the video to transition back to the beginning, allowing it to play continuously.
Use the prompt bar to add a text description of the video you want to generate.
Select Generate .
On the Adobe Firefly homepage, select Generate from the left panel then select Generate video.
In the General settings section, select Runway Gen-4.5 from the Model dropdown.
The default Resolution for video generation will remain at 720p, and the Aspect ratio will be Widescreen (16:9). The Frames per second is also set to a default 24 FPS.
Go to the Duration dropdown and select the duration of the generated video as 5, 8, or 10 seconds.

If you want to use a specific image as the starting frame of your video, under the Frames section, select First to add a start image. Optionally, use Last to upload an image for the end frame to conclude the video. To further modify keyframe images, select:
- Crop Image: If the keyframe image doesn’t match the aspect ratio, hover over the thumbnail to activate the image tools and select the Crop Image icon . You can move your cursor over the preview and adjust the crop as needed.
- Edit Image: If you wish to edit the keyframe image, hover over the thumbnail to activate the image tools and select the Edit Image icon . When the edit with text prompts page opens, you can easily add or modify the details of your image and Save it to get back to the Generate video page.
- Remove Image: To remove a keyframe image, hover over it and select the Remove Image icon .
The Audio option will be enabled by default, which means any generated video will automatically include synchronized sound.
In the Prompt field, enter a text prompt and select Generate .
On the Adobe Firefly homepage, select Generate from the left panel, then select Generate Video.
In the General settings section, select Veo 2, Veo 3.1, or Veo 3.1 Fast from the Model dropdown.
For the Veo 2 model, the resolution is set to 720p by default.
You can select from 720p and 1080p for Veo 3.1 and Veo 3.1 Fast models.
Select the Aspect ratio from Widescreen (16:9) or Vertical (9:16).
The Frames per second is set to a default 24 FPS.
For Veo 2, the default duration of the generated video is 5 seconds. If you have selected the generation model as Veo 3 and Veo 3 Fast, you can select from the following:
- 4 seconds
- 6 seconds
- 8 seconds
Veo 3.1 and Veo 3.1 Fast offer the ability to generate audio along with your video. Enable the Audio option to generate synchronized sounds or music for the generated video.
Go to Frames under References, to add a first or a last frame by selecting First or Last icons to add an image. To further modify keyframe images select:
- Crop Image: If the keyframe image doesn’t match the aspect ratio, hover over the thumbnail to activate the image tools and select the Crop Image icon . You can move your cursor over the preview and adjust the crop as needed.
- Edit Image: If you wish to edit the keyframe image, hover over the thumbnail to activate the image tools and select the Edit Image icon . When the edit with text prompts page opens, you can easily add or modify the details of your image and Save it to get back to the Generate video page.
- Remove Image: To remove a keyframe image, hover over it and select the Remove Image icon .
Veo 2 only allows you to specify the first frame. To generate videos with reference images in Veo 3.1, ensure the aspect ratio is 16:9 and the duration is 8 seconds.
When using Veo 3.1 you can add an image as a reference for the video. Go to Images under References, and select the upload icon to add images from your device or Adobe cloud storage. You can upload up to three images as a reference.
