Create GenAI usage reports for your organization hierarchy

Last updated on Oct 26, 2026

Learn how global administrators can generate and download an aggregated GenAI usage report across multiple organizations in their hierarchy for specific date ranges to facilitate precise tracking of GenAI usage.

To create, view, and download GenAI usage reports, sign in to the Global Admin Console and go to Insights > GenAI usage.

Note

GenAI usage reports are available to global administrators in Enterprise Term License Agreement (ETLA) organizations. The available report types depend on the GenAI-eligible offers provisioned across your organization hierarchy.

Create a report

GenAI usage reports help you monitor generative AI adoption and consumption across your org hierarchy, rather than tracking it org-by-org. Global admins can create and download a single aggregated GenAI usage report for any number of child organizations and a specific date range, covering AI usage, Operations, and Custom models.

To create reports for a single organization, use the AI usage, Operations, and Custom models reports available in that organization's Admin Console.

In the Global Admin Console, go to the Insights > GenAI usage.

Select Create report.

In the Create a GenAI usage report dialog:

  • Under Report type, select the report types to include. AI usage, Operations, and Custom models are all selected by default. Deselect the ones you don't need.
  • Under Organizations, select the organizations to include in the report. Use the search field to find an organization by name, or select all child orgs within a parent using Select all. Organizations without an eligible GenAI offer are disabled and can't be selected. Turn on Hide disabled organizations to remove them from the list entirely.
  • Under Date range, use the calendar picker to set a start and end date. Data is available from December 5, 2025 onward.

Select Download.

When the report is ready, you can download it. An email notification is also sent.

All report creation and download actions are tracked in audit logs.

View and download previously generated reports

Global administrators can access reports created by other global administrators in the organization. Global viewers can view report listings but can't download reports.

Go to the Insights tab In the Global Admin Console.

Select GenAI usage.

All reports are listed with details such as creator, created time, date range, and status.

Use the search field to find a report by name or creator.

To download a report, select the Download icon next to it. Reports remain available for download in the Global Admin Console once processed.

Know your report

The report downloads as a single XLSX file with a separate tab for each report type you selected while creating the report. Every tab includes Org name and Org ID, so you can filter or aggregate across every organization included in the report. For column definitions, see Download GenAI usage reports from the Adobe Admin Console.
