Learn about the user types and management in Adobe Admin Console.

User management in Adobe Admin Console is the process of adding, organizing, and maintaining user accounts so members of your organization can access Adobe products and services. After you configure your identity type and set up authentication, managing users becomes your primary ongoing administrative task.

Types of users

Adobe Enterprise broadly defines two user types: admins and end users.

Administrators (admins)

Enterprise or teams admins perform administrative tasks on the Admin Console. You add admins to define a flexible administrative hierarchy that allows controlled delegation of product access, user management, and other administrative responsibilities.

All admins must be added to the Admin Console. When adding them, administrative privileges are determined by their administrative roles.

End users

End users are the users within your organization who use the Adobe products and services you have obtained under the agreement with Adobe.
