Plan and migrate users from Creative Cloud for enterprise to Edition 3, Edition 4, Edition 5, or Adobe Express with Firefly plans.
This migration applies to:
- VIP accounts moving to Creative Cloud for enterprise Edition 3 or Edition 4.
- Adobe Enterprise Term License Agreement (ETLA) accounts moving to Creative Cloud for enterprise Edition 3, Edition 4, Edition 5, or Adobe Express with Firefly.
Users and admins are currently assigned to product profiles that come with your Creative Cloud for enterprise plan. To migrate them to the new plans, decide your migration strategy based on how users and product profiles are currently set up in your organization.

Before you begin
You'll need:
- System Admin or Product Admin role in the Admin Console.
- Access to both the Creative Cloud for enterprise product profile and the new target product profile (Edition 3, Edition 4, Edition 5, or Adobe Express with Firefly).
- The target product profile created and configured with the appropriate services and quotas.

Once you've chosen your migration strategy and confirmed you're ready to begin, follow the corresponding procedure. For detailed steps, see Migrate users and user groups from old profiles:
- Migrate users individually or in bulk: Export users from the Creative Cloud for the enterprise product profile, turn off notifications if needed, import users into the new Edition 3, Edition 4, Edition 5, or Adobe Express with the Firefly product profile, and delete the source profile once the migration is confirmed.
- Migrate user groups: Reassign user groups from the Creative Cloud for enterprise product profile to the new product profile, preserving the group structure and simplifying ongoing management.
- Automated environments: If you manage users via directory sync, use the User Sync Tool, User Management API, Microsoft Azure Sync, or Google SSO Federation to update profile assignments rather than migrating manually.
Common questions
Edition 4 plans offer unlimited access to all Adobe Stock standard images, vectors, illustrations, templates, and 3D assets. Video clips, music tracks, and premium images are licensed separately with Adobe Stock credits.
Edition 5 plans offer unlimited access to the entire Adobe Stock collection: all standard images, vectors, illustrations, templates, and 3D assets plus all video clips, music tracks, and premium images.
Yes, your team can use the same features, Creative Cloud Libraries, and login credentials from Creative Cloud for enterprise.
All Adobe Stock assets licensed under an Edition 4 or Edition 5 plan come with an Extended License.
An Extended License allows unlimited copies or views of the Adobe Stock asset. You can use the Adobe Stock asset to create merchandise or products for resale or distribution where the main value of the product is associated with the asset itself, such as a coffee mug or t-shirt.
If you cancel the Edition 4 or Edition 5 plan or it expires, you can use licensed assets only for existing projects—not for the first time or in any new project or other use. To learn more about different Adobe license types, visit https://stock.adobe.com/license-terms.
Every user that is assigned to your organization’s Edition 4 or Edition 5 plan will be able to license certain Adobe Stock assets, depending on the plan type and the user’s assigned permissions. Licensed assets may be shared with others in the organization and used on the organization's behalf. Assets licensed under an Edition 4 or Edition 5 plan cannot be used in a client project.
All licensed assets are available in the unified license history and remain with the organization even if individual team members change.
