Sign in to your Adobe apps

Last updated on Aug 3, 2026

Understand how account and profile choices affect access to your Adobe apps and assets.

When signing in to Adobe apps or services, you may choose between different accounts or profiles associated with your email. The choices determine your access to apps, licenses, and assets.

Your sign‑in experience depends on whether Adobe products were assigned to you by your organization and if you’ve also created a personal Adobe account with the same email.

Accounts and authentication

An account represents your relationship with an organization that provides Adobe products. You authenticate to an account by entering your email address and verifying your identity with a password, two-step verification, or your organization's single sign-on (SSO) system.

You may see an account chooser if:

  • You created a personal Adobe account using your organization's managed email address
  • Multiple businesses have assigned you Adobe products using the same email address

The account chooser presents the following options:

  • Company or school account: Sign in to access apps and services assigned by the organization that owns and manages your email address
  • Personal account: Sign in to access personal plans you purchased, or apps assigned by businesses other than your owning organization

Profiles and entitlements

A profile represents a set of Adobe entitlements associated with your account. When multiple organizations or businesses assign you Adobe products using the same email address, Adobe creates separate profiles for each set of entitlements. Each profile has dedicated storage that's independent from other profiles.

You may see a profile chooser after authentication when:

  • Multiple Adobe plans are assigned to your personal email address.
  • You selected a Personal account, and multiple businesses have assigned you plans.
  • You selected a company or school account, and your organization manages multiple separate entitlements for you.

How account and profile selection work together

Your access path depends on your email address and product assignments:

Sign-in and access issues

If you can't find the expected apps or assets after signing in, you may have selected a different account or profile.

Each account and profile combination provides access to a distinct set of entitlements and storage.

Sign out, then carefully select the account and profile that correspond to the organization whose apps and assets you need to access. Your managed email address can authenticate against multiple accounts, and each account may have multiple profiles. Choosing the right combination is essential to accessing the resources you want.
