Learn how to manually activate shared device licenses using the Adobe Licensing Toolkit.
After you install a shared device license package on a machine, users may see an error when launching an app if the installation fails. When you deploy a package, the toolkit validates the license by connecting to the Adobe licensing servers. This validation can fail if the network connection was interrupted during installation due to a firewall, proxy, timeout, or other network issue.
To resolve this, first ensure the machine has an internet connection. Then, either reinstall the package or run the following command with administrative privileges to manually activate it:
