Verify domain ownership

Add a DNS TXT record with your Admin Console token to verify domain ownership.
Domain verification confirms you own the domain, so your organization can create enterprise accounts. Adobe Admin Console provides a verification token that you add as a TXT record in the DNS. After verification, all subdomains are validated automatically in the Admin Console.
Before you begin
- Ensure you're a DNS admin or have domain access.
Add the verification record to your DNS settings
Locate the DNS management page, which may be labelled DNS Management, Name Server Management, or Advanced Settings.
Create a new DNS record and select TXT as the record type.
Enter @ or leave the field blank in the Name, Host, or Alias field.
Enter 3600 or use the default value in the TTL (Time to Live) field.
Paste adobe-idp-site-verification= <token> in the Value, Answer, or Destination field, where token is the verification token from your Admin Console.
Note
Field names differ by domain host. However, the TXT record label must match the domain you are verifying. Ignore any warnings when saving. Adding TXT records won’t affect your website or other DNS settings.
Save the DNS record.
After saving the record, return to the Adobe Admin Console and validate the domain.
Understand DNS propagation time
DNS record updates typically take 24 to 72 hours to propagate across the Internet. You can’t verify the domain in the Admin Console until propagation completes.
Check DNS record status
If domain validation fails in the Admin Console, verify that your DNS TXT record contains the correct token value. You can use any DNS lookup service to check the real-time status of your domain's DNS records. For example, enter your domain name in the G Suite Toolbox Dig to retrieve current TXT records.
Get help with DNS settings
While your domain host provides the exact instructions for updating DNS records, you can reference publicly available guides. Check if instructions for your domain host appear on the Verify your domain help pages for G Suite apps. After updating and verifying the TXT record, return to the Admin Console to complete setup.
