Customize using the ServiceConfig file

Modify the ServiceConfig.xml file to control the Apps panel’s visibility and the user authentication for deployed packages.
Modify Apps panel visibility
By default, users can then go to the Creative Cloud desktop > Apps to install and update apps. Use the ServiceConfig.xml file to show the Apps panel so that users can install and update the apps. If deselected, users can’t install or update apps on their own.
Navigate to the ServiceConfig.xml file location under
Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\Configs
MacOS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/Configs
Copy the file to your desktop and open the copy in your text editor, for example, TextEdit.
Locate the <visible> element within the and change the value to:
- true to enable the Apps panel
- false to hide the Apps panel
For example,

</config>
Save the edited file and then copy it back to the Configs folder, replacing the original.
Launch the Creative Cloud desktop app to apply the changes.
