Add security contacts

Add compliance officers in Admin Console to receive security incident notifications.

Security contacts ensure Adobe can notify the appropriate compliance officers in your organization when a security or privacy incident occurs. Adobe uses contact information only for incident notifications.

Only System Administrators can add or modify security contacts for enterprise organizations. If security contacts have not been configured, a notification banner appears in the Admin Console prompting you to complete this setup.

Adobe requires three types of security contacts to maintain effective incident communication:

  • Data Access Administrator: The person or group that handles Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) inquiries from individuals requesting access to their data
  • Security Administrator: The person or group that must be notified immediately when a security incident occurs
  • Data Protection Officer: The person responsible for overseeing compliance with data protection regulations and responding to privacy incidents

Configure security contacts in Admin Console

Sign in to the Admin Console and go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Security Contacts.

Select Add Contacts.

Add contacts.

Enter the name, email address, and phone number for each of the three required contact types.

Select Save to store the contact information.

Tip

Use distribution list email addresses rather than individual addresses to ensure notifications reach someone even when personnel change. Security contacts do not need to be users in the Admin Console.

Once configured, these contacts receive direct notification from Adobe in the event of any security or privacy incident affecting your organization's data or users.
