Upload and manage custom fonts
Learn how to accept the custom fonts offer, then upload, organize, and remove custom font files for your organization.
Custom fonts in Creative Cloud for enterprise let you upload and manage the fonts your users need. Add a font once, and Creative Cloud syncs it to your users' devices for use in supported apps.
Accept the custom fonts offer
If you're the product administrator, you'll receive a special offer for Custom fonts in the Admin Console. Accept it once to add Custom fonts to your product list and receive a confirmation email. You can then add font files, which sync to your users' devices through Creative Cloud.
For the general steps to accept a special offer, see activate a special offer. Look for custom fonts under special offers on the Products page.
Before you begin
Before you upload a font, make sure that:
- The file size does not exceed 512 MB.
- The font is either a TrueType (.ttf) or an OpenType® (.otf) font.
- You have the rights and licenses to use the fonts you upload.
- You are a product administrator for custom fonts.
Only Product Administrators can access this page. If needed, create a product profile and assign yourself to the Custom fonts product.
Add fonts
Select the organization you want to upload custom fonts for, then select Get Started.
Choose font files on your computer and drag them to upload them to Creative Cloud.
Review the selected files. Confirm that you have enough licenses, and give Adobe permission to share your license details (such as company name and seat count) with the font foundry.
Select Add to upload the fonts to your organization's custom fonts.
Optionally, select Add more to upload additional fonts.
If you see an "Add failed" or "Processing failed" error, check your internet connection and try again.
After you've added the custom fonts, you must assign users to access these fonts.
Remove fonts
Remove fonts your organization no longer needs, or replace outdated font files with new ones.
- End users can't see or use custom fonts you've removed.
- If you remove a font, assets that use it will still reference it. Files may not render properly, and apps may flag the font as missing.
In the Admin Console, navigate to Products, then select the external link icon to open the Custom fonts page.
Select the organization you uploaded custom fonts for, then select Get Started.
Select the font you want to remove.
Select More options and then select Remove.
Don't forget to notify your users about the fonts that you have removed.
