Sign in to your Adobe apps

Last updated on Nov 4, 2026

Sign in to Adobe apps with your work or school email, and choose the right account and profile to reach your apps and files.

If your company, school, or another business gave you Adobe apps, sign in with the email address they used to assign them. Depending on how your apps were assigned, you might also choose an account and a profile.

Sign in with your work or school email

Open the Adobe app you want to use, such as Photoshop or Acrobat, or sign in on the web.

Enter the email address your organization used to assign your apps. This is usually your work or school email.

If you’re asked to choose an account, select one:

  • Company or school account: Apps assigned by the organization that manages your email address.
  • Personal account: Personally purchased plans and apps assigned by other businesses. This means a personal account can hold business entitlements.

Verify your identity with your password, a two-step verification code, or your organization’s single sign-on (SSO) page.

If you’re asked to choose a profile, select the name of the organization whose apps and files you want to use.

Select a profile
The profile chooser lists each organization that assigned you apps.

Note

A Personal account can include business apps. If a business other than the one that manages your email assigned you apps, for example a client or partner, select Personal account to reach them. Then select that business’s profile.

Choose the right account and profile

A managed email is an address on a domain your organization owns and manages with Adobe, such as name@yourcompany.com. A personal email is any other address, such as name@gmail.com.

How accounts and profiles work

An Adobe account is what you log in to. It’s either the Company or school account managed by your organization, or your Personal account.

A profile is a set of apps and services from one organization or business. When more than one organization assigns you apps with the same email, Adobe creates a separate profile for each. Each profile has its own storage, so the files you save in one profile don’t appear in another. For details, see Manage Adobe profiles.

Resolve missing apps and files

  • You signed in to the wrong account or profile. Switch to the profile for the organization you need, or sign out and sign in again with the right account and profile. Your files stay in the profile where you saved them.
  • The app was never assigned to you. Choosing a different account or profile won’t help. Contact your Adobe administrator to request access.
  • Your sign-in is blocked or your profile is restricted. If you see an Update Your Email screen or a message that your profile is restricted by IP, see Resolve Adobe account sign-in issues with organization restrictions.
