Note

For general administrative FAQs, see Adobe Express Photos admin FAQ.

Eligibility

Adobe Express Photos is available only to Windows Acrobat users who have purchased Acrobat Studio and Acrobat Express offers.

Access for existing Acrobat users

Existing Acrobat users do not automatically receive access to Adobe Express Photos. Users can receive Adobe Express Photos in one of the following ways:

  • When administrators deploy an Acrobat package that includes Adobe Express Photos.
  • When Adobe Express Photos installs automatically as part of an Acrobat update for eligible Windows users, unless administrators opt out.

Deployment in enterprise environments

Adobe Express Photos is included in the Acrobat enterprise plan. Administrators can deploy it using the same packaging and distribution methods used for Acrobat, including Admin Console packaging workflows and enterprise device‑management tools.

For Windows users with Acrobat Studio and Acrobat Express offers, Adobe Express Photos may also install automatically as part of an Acrobat update, unless the administrator has disabled automatic installation.

Opting out of automatic installation

Administrators can prevent Adobe Express Photos from installing through Acrobat updates by setting the following Windows registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\FeatureLockDown

"bDisableHarmonyInstallationFeature"=dword:00000001

This registry key is also set automatically when administrators deselect Adobe Express Photos during Acrobat installer configuration.

Removing Adobe Express Photos after deployment

To remove Adobe Express Photos after deployment, administrators must:

Adobe, Inc.
