Granting access after purchase
How do Firefly Services (FFS) customers get access to Firefly Creative Production?
Firefly Creative Production (FCP) is a new entitlement that’s automatically included with the Firefly Services product. There are no new product cards or indicators in the Admin Console related to FCP. Granting a user access to Firefly Services and a storage plan will allow access to FCP. Learn how to assign users to Firefly Creative Production.
How do FCP Standalone customers get access to FCP?
FCP Standalone is a separate standalone product card in the Admin Console for customers who don’t have a Firefly Services entitlement. Admins can grant access to the standalone product (and a storage plan) to give users access to FCP Standalone.
Reporting
Will volume usage or other types of reporting be available for FCP?
Metering for FCP isn't currently available but is coming soon. Once metering is live, admins can see usage reported in the Admin Console. Reporting shows API consumption at the org level rather than each individual’s usage.
The FFS and FCP combined offer and the FCP Standalone offer both provide similar usage data, with FCP usage differentiated from other API usage.
API limits
Is it possible to cap API volume or limit it by user?
Apart from limiting total API operations, there is no current ability to cap or limit API use for individual users. Any limitations on individual users will need to be managed internally.
Developer entitlement
Do users with access to Firefly Creative Production, either through FFS or standalone, automatically get access to the Developer Console?
No. A user must be granted access by an admin to access the Developer Console.
