Acrobat XI opens in trial mode or prompts for a serial number | Creative Cloud members, Acrobat XI subscribers
You are a Creative Cloud Member or Acrobat subscriber, but when you open Acrobat XI, it shows:
- the trial screen and prompts you to License this Software or continue in Trial mode.
- the serial number screen and prompts you to enter a serial number.
This issue can occur when the licensing information for the membership or subscription is no longer available to Acrobat.
Signing out and back in to the Creative Cloud Desktop application should restore membership information and allow Acrobat to open fully licensed. For information about the Sign in/Sign Out process, see Sign out, Sign in | Creative Cloud desktop app.
