Restore missing tools in Adobe Acrobat

Learn how to restore missing tools in Adobe Acrobat Pro and Acrobat Standard.

Some tools such as Fill & Sign, Request Signature, and Prepare Form, are only available when you are subscribed to Acrobat Pro or Acrobat Standard (Continous track). Check the Acrobart version and track to confirm your product subscription.

If you find the tools missing in your Acrobat Pro or Acrobat Standard (Continous track), the issue may be related to language settings or installation.

Try these solutions to fix the issue.

Acrobat language settings are not configured

Windows

Open Acrobat and select Menu > Preferences > Language.
Select Choose at application startup in the Application language.
Close and relaunch Acrobat and choose English when prompted to select the language.

MACOS

Open Acrobat and select Preferences > Language.
Select English in the Application language menu and select OK.
Close and relaunch Acrobat.

Acrobat installation may be corrupted or incomplete

Open Acrobat and select Help > Repair installation.
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process.
Restart your system and launch Acrobat.

If the issue is not resolved, you can uninstall and reinstall Acrobat.
