Extract pages from a PDF

Extracting pages allows you to reuse specific pages from a PDF in another document. You can either keep the extracted pages in the original document or remove them during extraction.

Steps to extract pages

  1. Open the PDF in Acrobat and choose All tools > Organize pages

  2. Specify the range of pages to extract, such as Even pages, Odd pages, Landscape pages, Portrait pages, All pages or specific page numbers.

  3. Under Page options, select Extract pages.

  4. In the Extract dialog, do any of the following and select Extract.

    • Select Delete pages after extracting to remove pages from the original document.
    • Select Extract pages as separate files to create a single-page PDF for each extracted page.
    • Deselect both options to keep the original document intact and create a new PDF for the extracted pages.
