Eligible citizens and residents of Saudi Arabia aged 13 and over — including individuals, small businesses, and students — will be able to obtain 12 months of free access to Adobe Firefly Standard plus Adobe Express Premium features as part of the Adobe–National Access Programme partnership. This offer is designed to help people turn creativity into opportunity by creating visual content tuned to Saudi culture with the help of AI. Once activated, your free access is valid for 12 months from the date of activation. Interested individuals can register their interest to be among the first to know when enrollment becomes available.

Yes. This offer is open to all eligible Saudi citizens and residents (13+), whether you’re new to Adobe or already have an Adobe paid subscription. If you already have an Adobe paid subscription, you can keep your existing paid subscription and get the 12-month free Firefly Standard offer. Each subscription will have its own separate generative AI credit bucket, and you will continue to be charged for your paid subscription. Or you can cancel your existing paid subscription and use only the free offer. To cancel your subscription, go to your Adobe Account or contact Customer Support.
If you have any existing Adobe paid subscription that entitles you to generative AI credits, including a Firefly Standard subscription and choose to keep it active rather than canceling, then yes, you will get the number of credits allotted to each plan. The number of generative AI credits used will be tracked independently for each plan rather than combined into one balance. If you cancel any paid subscription, including an existing Firefly Standard subscription, then you'll only have the 2,000 monthly credits included with the 12-month free Firefly Standard offer.

After the offer expires, you'll retain access to your existing files, but some premium features, templates, and assets may become unavailable. You can continue using the free versions of Adobe Firefly and Adobe Express with basic tools and templates.
At the end of your 12-month free offer, you may be offered the option to continue with a paid Adobe Firefly Standard subscription. You won't be charged unless you choose to subscribe to a new paid plan or elected to automatically renew by adding a payment method at time of redemption.

Yes. In Saudi Arabia, HUMAIN Image 1 is the default model for image generation in Adobe Firefly and Adobe Express. Outside Saudi Arabia, it's available as a partner model which can be selected in the Partner Model dropdown alongside other third-party models such as Google's Nano Banana and OpenAI's GPT Image.

When you choose to use the HUMAIN Image 1 model, we only share the text prompt you enter and any reference image files you upload using that model, the same baseline approach Adobe applies across all partner models in Firefly. Your content is never used to train partner generative AI models or Adobe AI models; we only offer a partner model where the developer/hosting platform has contractually agreed to this. Prompts and reference files are processed by the HUMAIN Image 1 model in the United States (and can be processed in other locations if other partner models are chosen). Generated images aren't stored by the partner or retained in Adobe's content platform — they're held briefly (up to one hour) in Adobe's own U.S.-based storage and delivered via a temporary link that expires after that time. These transfers are made under the safeguards required by Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), including the Standard Contractual Clauses issued by SDAIA.
