Learn how to move the perspective grid and adjust its vanishing points in Adobe Illustrator to control depth and alignment in your design.

Move the perspective grid

Select the Perspective Grid tool.

Hover over the Ground Level point of the grid until the pointer changes to .

Drag the Ground Level widget to move the entire perspective grid across the artboard.

Press Shift as you drag to constrain movement horizontally or vertically.

Adjust vanishing points

Select the Perspective Grid tool.

Hover over the small diamond-shaped handles (vanishing points) on the left or right side of the perspective grid until the pointer changes to .
