Snap to the endpoint, midpoint, or center of any object with Smart Guides for faster, more consistent alignment.

Create pixel-perfect designs with enhanced Snap to Grid

Position objects inside grid cells while still snapping to lines or intersections when needed. New dotted guides provide clear visual feedback for precise, pixel-perfect layouts.

Design sharper with enhanced Snap to Pixel

Keep artwork aligned to the pixel grid by eliminating half-pixel shifts and misleading cues. Guides now appear only between pixel-perfect objects, ensuring sharp, accurate designs for screens.

Align objects faster with the Snapping Quick Access panel

Toggle between Snap to Grid, Snap to Pixel, Snap to Point, and Smart Guides quickly from the Snapping Quick Access panel in the Control bar. Use the panel to fine-tune snapping preferences instantly, like Alignment Guides and Snap to Glyph, for smoother, more accurate alignment without breaking your flow.

Snap accurately to rotated objects

Smart Guides now detect rotation angles automatically, letting you align to endpoints, midpoints, and centers of rotated objects with precision.

Limit snapping to active artboard and isolated objects

Limit snapping to objects only within the active artboard, and snap to isolated objects directly from the Preferences panel. This prevents unwanted alignment with elements outside your working area, keeping your edits focused and accurate.

Take control of snapping with advanced settings

Customize snapping in Smart Guides with options to force snap to grid, adjust snapping tolerance, or show guides during snapping. Adapt snapping to match your exact design needs.
