Select the Artboard tool and do any of the following:
- To select an artboard, select the artboard.
- To select multiple artboards, Shift - click the artboards.
- To select all the artboards, press Ctrl + A (Windows) or command + A (macOS).

Select Artboards icon from panels.
If the Artboards icon isn't visible in panels, select Window > Artboards.
In the Artboards panel, select the artboard name.
Select Artboards from panels.
In the Artboards panel, Shift - click the artboards.
Illustrator now outlines the active artboard with a black border, so you always know where you are working.
