Learn how to create patterns.
Select the artwork that you would like to create the pattern from, and then select Object > Pattern > Make.
In the bar below the Control Panel, select Save a Copy, Done, or Cancel.
Note
When you create a new pattern, it’s added to the Swatches panel. When you edit an existing pattern, its definition in the Swatches panel is automatically updated.
