Learn how to create multiple fills and strokes for the same object.

Select one or more objects or groups with the Selection tool.

Select Window > Appearance.

In the Appearance panel, select Add New Stroke or Add New Fill.

A. Add New Stroke B. Add New Fill C. Clear Appearance

Tip

Select Duplicate Selected Item to create a copy of the selected Fill or Stroke.

Select Delete Selected Item to remove the selected Fill or Stroke from the object.

Set the color and other associated properties for the new Fill or Stroke in the Appearance panel.
