Learn how to convert a gradient object into a mesh object, providing more control over color transitions and contouring.

Select the object with gradients using the Selection tool, then select Object > Expand.

In the Expand dialog box, select Gradient Mesh.

Select OK to convert the object into an editable gradient mesh object.

Select the object using the Mesh tool to add mesh lines and mesh points.
