Create a mockup with your own image
(Applies only to Mainland China and Russia) To use Mockup, install the Illustrator add-ons from the Creative Cloud desktop app.
You can use either your own raster image or any of the free curated image templates from the Mockup panel to create mockups.
Select the vector art and the image together using the Selection .
Select Create Mockup in the Mockup panel to apply the vector art to the image and create a mockup.
You'll also see a preview of your vector art on the free image templates in the Mockup panel. To work with any of them instead of your own image, select the design and then select Preview Mockup in the Mockup panel.
Drag the vector art on the canvas and place it in the desired location on the image. The art auto-adjusts according to the geometry of the object.
Select outside the image to fix the art in its current location.
To move the art again, select the art, then select Window > Properties. In the Properties panel, select Edit Content and edit the art again.
Open Window > Mockup .
Select the vector art using the Selection tool.
Select the template category for your specific application from the panel drop-down menu. Then, drag the template to the canvas to create a mockup.
Drag the vector art and place it in the desired location on the image. The art will auto-adjust to fit the object’s shape.
To fix the art in its current location, select outside the image. To move it again, select the art, and then select Edit Content in the Properties panel.
Close Illustrator and open the Creative Cloud desktop app.
Switch to the Apps tab.
Select More actions in the Illustrator card, and then select Get add-ons.
Select Add next to Mockup feature components, Mapping components, and Masking components.
Open Illustrator.
