Learn about the options to change and refine the color scheme of your artwork.
You can select the artwork, and then select Edit > Edit Colors > Recolor Artwork to open the Recolor dialog box.

Undo Changes |
Rolls back the most recent color change made from the Recolor dialog. This option is unavailable after reopening the dialog, even if a change was made earlier. |

Redo Changes |
Restores the most recent change that was undone. |

Reset |
Rolls back all the color changes made from the Recolor dialog. This option is unavailable after reopening the dialog, even if changes were made earlier. |

Color Library |
Applies colors from one of the predefined color sets. |

Colors |
Limits the number of colors in the recolored artwork. |

Color Theme Picker |
Picks a color palette from a reference image or vector artwork by clicking or dragging. |

Color wheel |
Changes the hue, brightness, and saturation using handles. |
|
Change color order randomly |
Randomly shuffles the colors among the elements in the artwork. |

Change saturation and brightness randomly |
Randomly changes the saturation and brightness of the colors in the artwork. |

Link Unlink harmony colors |
Maintains harmony in the color scheme by moving the color wheel handles together, or breaks it by moving them independently. |
|
Prominent Colors |
Shows all the prominent colors in the artwork, and lets you increase or decrease their weight by dragging their edges. |

Show brightness and hue on color wheel |
Displays brightness along with hues on the color wheel, allowing you to adjust their lightness or darkness. |

Show saturation and hue on color wheel |
Displays saturation along with hues on the color wheel, allowing you to adjust their intensity. |
