Apply a Linear Gradient or a Radial Gradient for multiple objects

Select the object and apply a Linear or Radial Gradient.

Select the Selection tool from the toolbar. Hold the Shift key and select the other objects that you want to fill with same gradient.

Select the Fill icon in the Gradient panel to apply the gradient to the selected objects.

Tip

You can use the Eyedropper tool to pick different gradient colors.

Apply gradients for multiple objects using the Gradient tool

To create a gradient with one Gradient Annotator, select the Gradient tool and click on the artboard where you want the gradient to begin, then drag to the point where you want it to end.

To create a gradient with a Gradient Annotator for every selected object, select the Gradient tool and press and hold Alt (Windows) or Option (macOS), then drag from the gradient’s start point to its endpoint. Adjust the different gradient sliders for the different objects. Multiple gradient sliders are only created for simple paths.
