AI Assistant Editor is a beta feature in Adobe Photoshop on desktop now available for testing and feedback.
AI Assisted Editor (Beta) is a simplified, AI-powered mode in Photoshop that helps new users edit images using natural language prompts and AI-powered tools, such as Prompt, Markup, Fill, Remove, Crop and expand, Upscale, and Remove background.
Toggle between AI Assisted Editor and Pro Editor at any time. When switching from Pro Editor to AI Assisted Editor, layered documents are flattened to ensure compatibility, and when switching back, your latest AI Assisted Editor edit is added as a new layer, allowing you to continue editing without interrupting your workflow.
Launch Photoshop and use either option to open AI Assisted Editor:
Select one of the suggested options, like Restyle an image or Edit with markup. You can also select Open, Adobe cloud storage, or Create new canvas to get started.
Use the toolbar to select a tool such as Prompt, Markup, Fill, Remove, Crop and expand, Upscale, or Remove background.
Enter a prompt describing the edit you want to make, and select Generate.
