Applicable configuration iMacs using the Intel Iris Pro Graphics 6200 graphics card


On iMacs using the Intel Iris Pro Graphics 6200 graphics card, the screen may flicker, blink, flash, or black out momentarily while using Photoshop CC.

Adobe is working with partners to resolve this issue.



Set your cursor mode to Precise. To do so temporarily, press Caps Lock. Turn off Caps Lock to set the cursor mode back to Standard.

Alternatively, follow these steps to set Precise as your preferred cursor mode:

  • In Photoshop, select Preferences > Cursors.
  • For Painting Cursors and Other Cursors, set the mode to Precise.


  • Click OK to dismiss the Preferences dialog.
