Uniform Color

In: Atomic Nodes

Simple

Description

The Uniform Color returns a solid, user-defined color or value. It is a simple node that is used very often as a starting point for adding colors or creating specific values.

Note:

To improve performances, we generally recommend:

  • Switch this node to grayscale when possible. If black or white value are needed, there is no need to use a Uniform Color node set to Color. It also makes graphs easier to edit.
  • Change the resolution of the node to an absolute size of 32x32 pixels for example. It is often not useful to compute an uniformly colored texture of 4096x4096 pixels, computing a smaller uniform texture and resizing it will be faster.

Parameters

  • Color Mode: Color/Grayscale
    Sets the output type.
  • Output Color:
Set the color or value returned as output.
