MCP server in Illustrator (Beta)

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is a standard that lets you connect AI tools to external data sources.

Illustrator (Beta) includes a built-in MCP server that allows you to connect desktop AI tools to Illustrator (Beta) and perform supported tasks directly from those tools. Use natural language in your AI tool to describe what you want to do, and the AI tool makes the required changes to the active Illustrator document. You can work with 40 Illustrator tools and actions through this integration.

Once connected, the authentication key remains valid until you regenerate it, which requires setting up a new connection. Usage is billed through your AI tool, not through Adobe.
