Learn how to duplicate objects in Adobe Illustrator using drag-and-drop or keyboard shortcuts.
Hold down Alt (Windows) or Option (macOS) and drag the object while holding the key to create a copy. Hold down Shift while dragging to constrain the direction of the copy.
Note
You can also duplicate objects using the Layers panel for more control over their placement and organization.
