Adjust decimal digits and column width

Learn how to adjust decimal digits and column width of graph data in Adobe Illustrator.

To improve readability, adjust the decimal digits and column width in the Graph Data window.

Select the graph and select Object > Graph > Data to open the Graph Data window.

To adjust the decimal precision, select Cell style

and enter a value between 0 and 10 in the Number of decimals field.

Use Decimal Places to set the number of digits after the decimal point, and Column Width to define how many digits appear in each column.

To adjust the width of columns, select the Cell style icon.

Enter a value between 0 and 20 in the Column width field.

Tip

To adjust the width manually, hover over the column edge until the pointer changes to a double arrow  icon, then drag to resize.
