Add arrowheads to paths

Learn how to add arrowheads using the Stroke panel and customize their size and alignment.
Select Window > Stroke to open the Stroke panel.
Select the Stroke panel menu, and then select Show Options.
Select the Arrowheads dropdown menus and select the desired arrowhead style for the start point and end point of the path. Select Swap start and end arrowheads if needed.
Note
To remove arrowheads from an object, select None from the Arrowheads dropdown list.
To resize arrowheads, use the options in the Scale section to adjust the scale factor for the start and end arrowhead. By default, the scale factor for both the start and end arrowheads is set to 100%. To scale both equally, select Link start and end of arrowhead scales.
To select the arrowhead alignment to the path, select Extend arrow tip beyond end of path or Place arrow tip at the end of path in the Align section.
