Learn how to use Text to Image, powered by Adobe Firefly, to generate images from simple text prompts in Adobe InDesign.

Enter a text prompt describing the image you want, and InDesign generates multiple variations for you to review and use in your layout.

Select Window > Generate. You can also select File > Generate.

Enter a description of the image to create in the Prompt field and then select Generate . InDesign creates three variations and displays the contextual bar with your prompt.

Hover over a variation in the Generate panel and select the ellipsis icon. Choose Place variation to place it anywhere in your document, Good result or Bad result  to give feedback, or select Delete variation to delete it.
