Learn how to use the View menu options to turn your canvas when working with rotated layouts in Adobe InDesign.
Rotating the spread view allows you to work on documents with rotated content, such as calendars, tables, or landscape-oriented layouts. This rotation applies only to the selected spread, remains in effect until you clear it or close the document, and does not affect document output.
Rotate a spread
Select View > Rotate Spread > 90° CW, 90° CCW, or 180°. A rotation icon appears next to the spread thumbnail in the Pages panel.
Clear spread rotation
Select the rotated spread in the Pages panel.
Select View > Rotate Spread > Clear Rotation.
