Add diagonal lines to table cells in InDesign to divide cells or indicate structure. Diagonal lines help present data clearly and create visual separation within cells. You can control the line direction and stroke properties to match formatting needs.

Select the cells using the Type tool.

Select Table > Cell Options > Diagonal Lines.

Select the required diagonal line direction.

Set Line Stroke properties.

Select Diagonal in Front or Content in Front from the Draw drop-down menu. 

Select OK.
