InDesign includes the Duden dictionary for German spelling and hyphenation. It offers multiple spell-checking and hyphenation styles to match different editorial standards for German speakers and learners.
Select your target German language variant from the Language drop-down menu.
Select Duden from both the Hyphenation and Spelling drop-down menus.
Select OK.
